DBasia.news – AC Milan is reportedly preparing to return to target Marco Asensio after Real Madrid set a price for their striker.
MilanNews provided an update by highlighting how SportMediaset quoted Asensio’s agent earlier this week admitting that his client was indeed of interest to the Rossoneri.
“Interest in Milan is a matter of pride, a future at Milan is an option, there are also offers from two Premier League clubs including Arsenal, we are ready to evaluate every possibility,” said the agent.
In the transfer window last summer, Il Diavolo had time to dig up information about the situation of the Spain international and even reached a verbal agreement with Los Blancos.
However, the deal ran aground halfway due to the star’s desire to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu and fight for his place in the team, something he has managed to do well considering he has made 34 appearances and scored 10 goals for the La Liga giants in all competitions this season.
The Rossoneri management are fans of the 26-year-old winger and believe he will be an attractive profile for the club given his technical qualities and the fact that he can play both as a playmaker and on the right wing of the team’s attack.
However, the transaction will be complicated because Asensio’s contract will expire in 2023 and Real Madrid will set a price tag of around 25 million euros or IDR 400 billion, but the situation still needs to be monitored.
