Malaga Requests Match Postponed

DBasia.news –  The Spanish team that was once part of LaLiga, Malaga, asked for the match to be postponed due to a lack of players.

However, the problem experienced by Malaga is very different from what happened in Indonesia. They asked for the match to be postponed due to impossible circumstances.

The club that now competes in the Segunda Division, or the second caste in the Spanish League, is short of players. Some players were banned and suffered injuries.

Marca reports that the Malaga squad currently leaves only 10 players in the first team. Unfortunately, they could not play the players of the young team to fill the team vacancy.

Regulations in Spain say that the two highest castes on the matador land do not allow a team to lose its youth team if there are still at least seven players in the first team.

However, the request of the club based in La Rosaleda to postpone the match against Cadiz was rejected outright by the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF).

“The Malaga vs Cadiz match will not be postponed because of the lack of players who received national team calls, injuries, and also sanctions from the federation,” the federation’s official statement.

Problems that hit former club Isco and Santi Cazorla did not stop there. They are also experiencing a financial crisis. The Andalusian club needs at least five million euros to complete the 2019-2020 season.
