Malaysia cannot repeat the mistake

DBasia.news – “You want to beat Japan, you have to be at the best level and not repeat mistakes like against Bahrain”.

Datuk Ong Kim Swee’s orders to his line-up after watching his men 3-2 defeated by Bahrain in Group E.

Kim Swee was obviously unhappy with the performance of some of his players and reminded them of the more difficult match against Japan in the second round this Friday.

“Japan is a young squad but I see them as almost perfect since they were formed only a few years before and have already proven their capabilities on an international level .

“If players want to make a surprise defeat to Japan, they need to be at their best and can not repeat the mistakes as they did in the match against Bahrain,” he said.

The country’s players have done some improper action against Bahrain like the first goal is due to mistakes in the defense line.

Kim Swee rested most of his major players in the last Group E action in hopes that they could draw out a positive result later.

However there are players who triggered the dislike of the Malacca-born coach, when not playing as expected.

“After this, I’ll only drop the players if there is no choice. We still have three training sessions and I hope they will show something positive,” he explained.
