DBasia.news –  Manchester United are starting to think about a transfer strategy for next summer. One of the players they sought was Benfica’s talented youngster, Joao Felix.

Reported from the Mirror, the Red Devils manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has even sent a talent scout to watch the match between Benfica and Nacional CD last week, to oversee the player’s progress.

However, the price problem was allegedly an obstacle for Man United to bring the 19-year-old player. This is because the Benfica party reportedly only wants to hear the offer at 100 million pounds.

Felix himself was only promoted to the Benfica first team in this 2018/19 season. However, since then, he has been almost irreplaceable in the attacking midfielder position of Bruno Lage’s team. He has appeared in 23 matches so far in all competitions, and scored nine goals and five assists.
