Manchester City’s Injury Storm Rattles Pep Guardiola

DBasia.news –  The injury storm at Manchester City turned out to have made the manager, Pep Guardiola, rattled and worried.

An injury storm has hit Manchester City. Most recently, two of their players, Rodri and Oleksandr Zinchenko, has entered the treatment room due to injuries.

Rodri is expected to be absent for one month due to a hamstring injury. While Oleksandr Zinchenko will be pulled over for six weeks due to a knee injury.

Previously, Manchester City had to lose several players because of injuries. These include Aymeric Laporte, Leroy Sane, John Stones, and Kevin De Bruyne.

These conditions has made Pep Guardiola have to rack his brain to make a list of Manchester City players. The Spanish coach feels that this is a bad period for his team.

“Some of them injured their muscles and ligaments. Right now, Manchester City is in a bad period. When thinking about next month, I feel worried,” said Pep Guardiola

“In some positions, Manchester City don’t like enough players. In my opinion, we will not bring in new players. The club didn’t offer me.”

“Our needs are not just for the next six months, but the long term. In my opinion, Manchester City will survive with existing players,” he added.

One of Manchester City’s solutions is to play players not in their original position. Incidentally, Pep Guardiola have done this often.
