Manchester United are still targeting for three more players

DBasia.news – Erik ten Hag is reportedly still hoping to sign three additional players before the transfer window closes after Manchester United agreed to sign Antony from Ajax.

Previously, it can be confirmed that Antony’s hopes of moving to Old Trafford will soon come true after United agreed to a 100 million euro (85 million pounds) fee with Ajax to sign him.

Since being appointed as the new coach of the Red Devils, Ten Hag has targeted his former team. However, De Godenzonen continued to reject MU’s offer and has set a high price for him, thus triggering a strike from Antony.

Now Ajax have accepted the offer despite strong protests by their coach Alfred Schreuder.

Even though they are trying to find a new striker, Man United has yet to finish maneuvering in the transfer market and The Telegraph claims that Ten Hag still wants three additional players.

Newcastle United goalkeeper Martin Dubravka submitted a transfer request in order to realize his transfer to Old Trafford, but the two clubs have not mutually agreed.

Right-back and central midfield are other positions United have prioritized, but Ten Hag is open on signing additional strikers instead of midfielders, depending on who is available on the market.

Borussia Dortmund right-back Thomas Meunier has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some time, and the Belgium international player is known to be a Red Devils fan.

The 30-year-old player will present competition for Diogo Dalot, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be sold.

Midfield issues may be more challenging to solve, although United are claimed to have held initial talks with Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

The Serbian star has long been linked with United and he is valued at 50 million pounds by the Serie A giants.
