DBasia.news – Manchester United officially extended the duration of his young midfielder Scott McTominay’s contract until 2025 on Tuesday (6/23).
The 23-year-old former MU academy has made his debut in 2017 and to date has donated six goals for The Red Devils in 75 appearances.
“While I understand that we all have a lot of other things to think about right now, I am very happy to sign this contract and play a future role for this team,” McTominay said as quoted by AFP in London on Tuesday (6/23).
“What I know is United and I hope that my passion for the club appears every time I enter the field. I will continue to give everything to this club whenever I wear a shirt,” he added.
McTominay has appeared 28 times in all competitions this season, despite missing two months with a knee injury, and has become one of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s prominent players.
“Scott has worked very well since I joined and has been an important part of our midfield,” Solskjaer said.
“He brings determination, persistence and skill into the game and we know that Scott’s involvement will be a major asset for the squad in the coming years.” He concluded.
