Manchester United wants to recruit a goalkeeper

DBasia.news – Romelu Lukaku has recently been linked with a return to Inter Milan in the summer. ThomAny player who is associated with the Red Devils is merely a rumor without any concrete transfers. Some of these names include Jurrien Timber, Frenkie de Jong, Lisandro Martinez, Christian Eriksen, to Adrien Rabiot.

But instead of signing De Jong, Timber or Eriksen to strengthen their attack, Manchester United has the potential to bring in 27-year-old Austrian goalkeeper, Daniel Bachmann from Watford. Bachmann is plotted as a replacement for Dean Henderson.

“Manchester United are talking to Watford to sign Daniel Bachmann as the second of the three goalkeepers. Watford are only considering a permanent deal,” said transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

“Bachmann is one of the options for Man United to replace Dean Henderson, who is just one step away from joining Nottingham Forest as stated last week,” said Romano.

Nottingham reportedly wants to borrow Henderson with a purchase option of 20 million pounds. Henderson wanted to leave as he lost to David De Gea, plus he still has hope of playing for the England national team at the 2022 World Cup.

No doubt the news was obviously surprising as Daniel Bachmann had never been previously linked with Man United.

The Austrian goalkeeper has 13 caps but his career has not been well known in Europe. Bachmann previously represented Stoke City and had loan spells at Wrexham, Ross County, Bury and Kilmarnock.
