DBasia.news –  Juventus forward, Mario Mandzukic, and former AC Milan player, Ignazio Abate, have reportedly rejected the proposal of the Qatari club, Al-Gharafa SC.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Mandzukic chose to stay with Juventus while waiting for another proposal in January next year.

Abate also refused the contract worth 2.2 million euros per season from the Qatari club.

According to the page football-italia.net, together with Mandzukic, Abate is waiting for an offer to be involved in a major project that can continue his career at the top level.

Mandzukic seems to be no longer needed by Juventus as evidenced by his absence in coach Maurizio Sarri’s plans for this season.

Sarri wanted to release Mandzukic in the transfer last summer, but until the transfer closed, the striker has remained in Turin.

While Abate, has passed his last match with AC Milan on May 26, 2019.

The son of former Italy national team goalkeeper, Beniamino Abate, who now coaches the AC Milan youth team, is now without a club.
