DBasia.news –  West Ham United Manager, Manuel Pellegrini is in on Liverpool’s offside goals conversation. According to him, this is not the first time the team gained no advantages, having  previously been beat by a seven meter offside goal from Jurgen Klopp’s team.

West Ham United held Liverpool 1-1 in the 2018-2019 Premier League continuing match, at London Stadium, Tuesday (5/2) early dawn WIB. A controversy commenced at the match.

At first, West Ham started ahead with Michail Antonio. However Liverpool managed to retaliate through Sadio Mane’s  goal. As viewing the re-runs, Sadio Mane’s goal should not have counted as James Milner was offside in the build-up.

After the game, Manuel Pellegrini opened up about Sadio Mane’s goal. He recalled the case while coaching Malaga and met Borussia Dortmund, coached by Jurgen Klopp.

“It doesn’t matter. Klopp is used to winning with goals offside. He beat me against Malaga with Borussia Dortmund with a goal seven metres offside. So he can’t complain about anything.” Explains Pellegrini as reported by Soccerway.

“I was pleased with the players performance that played a really good game. But I’m disappointed with the results because the clearly scored an offside goal.

“We missed three or four chances, especially in the first 35 minutes, which could have finished the game. We missed those opportunities so we had a draw in game which we could have won,” exclaimed the manager.

“If you give time and space to players, they will make good decisions and score goals. We worked similarly tonight as we did against Arsenal, though we created more chances,” he says.

Now Liverpool is only three points away from Manchester City who occupies the second position, as for West Ham is in 12th positions with 32 points.
