DBasia.news – The exit for Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo is getting closer. The former Sporting Lisbon defender rarely played and was plagued by injuries while playing for the Red Devils.
In the last 2018/19 season, Rojo only played in a total of eight matches in all competitions, with only five matches starting. Now, coupled with the arrival of Harry Maguire, there is almost certainly no place for him in the defense sector.
Having tried to move to Everton in the 2019 transfer window this season, but failed, now as reported by Mirror, the Turkish giant, Fenerbahce, claimed to have tried to provide a way out for the former Spartak Moscow player. They reportedly wanted to recruit Rojo as a loan, especially after failing to bring in AS Roma wing-back Aleksandar Kolarov.
Rojo himself still has two years left on his contract with the Red Devils. But considering he has only been able to appear in 113 games since 2014, with most of it as a substitute, leaving to Turkey could be a solution that deserves consideration.
