Martinez had done a Psywar, Solskjaer was not happy

DBasia.news – Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was not happy with the way Emiliano Martinez done psywar to Bruno Fernandes who was about to execute a penalty.

MU hosted Aston Villa at Old Trafford in the sixth week of the Premier League, Saturday (25/9/2021) evening, WIB. Despite appearing dominant, the Red Devils had to be willing to lose 0-1 through Kortney Hause’s goal in the 88th minute.

The Red Devils actually had a chance to equalize when they received a penalty in injury time, but Bruno Fernandes’ execution bounced. The failure of the Portuguese midfielder could not be separated from Martinez’s psywar.

The Argentine Aston Villa goalkeeper had pointed at Ronaldo in front of Fernandes. Martinez’s hand gestures indicate that Ronaldo should be the executor.

Fred and Diogo Dalot had pushed Martinez away. On the other hand, Ronaldo gave a gesture to the referee and Paul Pogba pulled the 36-year-old striker away.

Fernandes finally prepared to kick. The stance he made was different from usual, Fernandez instead kicked the ball with all his might and his direction was far above the goal. Martinez then did a dance celebration on the side of the goal.

“The way it was against the penalty spot, against Bruno and all, it wasn’t what I wanted but I understand it but it shouldn’t be like that,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports when talking about Martinez’s psychic.

Solskjaer did not forget to defend Fernandes who failed to save United from defeat. Solskjaer insists that the midfielder will bounce back.

“This is football. He will come back and sometimes it doesn’t go your way. It’s a fine line between heaven and hell.”

Martinez also had time to do psywar when Argentina underwent a penalty shootout against Colombia in the Copa America semifinals a few months ago. Yerry Mina and Davinson Sanchez were victims and failed to score.
