DBasia.news – Juventus fans get good news about the transfer saga of Ajax Amsterdam defender Matthijs de Ligt. The Dutch national team defender is rumored to be soon to carry out a medical test with Juventus.
Juventus were in front of the finish line to bring Matthijs de Ligt. Gianluca Di Marzio reports, the negotiation process only needs to resolve some details. De Ligt is rumored to be heading to Turin on Tuesday (16/7).
Signs for Juventus will get De Ligt getting stronger after Ajax’s sporting director, Marc Overmars, said the agreement could soon be closed. Ajax are waiting for the bank guarantee process.
“For Matthijs de Ligt’s transfer to Juventus, we will finish it. It is about having the latest bank guarantee before confirming the transfer,” Overmars said.
“We are very focused on that. I hope this is a situation that will be resolved as soon as possible, but I am sure that will happen,” said the sporting director.
Juventus is expected to spend a total of 75 million euros to complete the carrying out operation of Matthijs de Ligt. This amount includes a bonus.
Furthermore, Matthijs de Ligt reportedly will hold a medical test on Wednesday tomorrow. If all is completed, De Ligt will soon join his new colleagues.
In addition to Matthijs de Ligt, Juventus are also trying to complete two major transfers namely Mauro Icardi and Paul Pogba. La Vecchia Signora is estimated to require funds of more than 150 million euros to hook the two players.
