DBasia.news – Leicester City ended the 12 unbeaten matches of Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on the 18th-week of Premier League. The Foxes won 1-0 by the only goal of Jamie Vardy, Saturday (22/12).
Leicester won 1-0 in Chelsea home and The Blues got the third defeat in the Premier League this season. The failure was surprising for Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian manager can’t help to think of how the team responded after Vardy’s goal at 55′. In spite of playing calmly and dominated the ball possession, Cesar Azpilicueta and friends got panicked and rushed to score the goal.

“I think we played very well for 55 minutes. We played very good football. After the goal, the reaction was, for me, a strange reaction. Not in the right direction. Not as a team. But as 11 different players. So it was really very strange,” Sarri told Independent.
“I think we could have done better in the reaction. We had only to continue to play as in the first part of the match. I don’t know (why this keeps happening). If I knew, I’d solve the problem for this match.”
“There was time to score without a reaction as a team shocked, a team in mental confusion. It’s difficult to understand because we have players with a lot of experience, so it’s difficult to understand,” Sarri concluded.
Chelsea’s position is almost surpassed by Arsenal with a similar point achievement, 37 points with goal difference.
