Chelsea officially signed Gonzalo Higuain on Wednesday (23/1). The Argentinian striker was signed as the loan player from Juventus until the season’s end.
Previously, Juventus ended the loaning period of Higuain in AC Milan. It means I Bianconeri refunded 9 million euro from the 18 million euro paid.
After that, Chelsea paid 9 million euro for Juventus. If they want to sign Higuain permanently, The Blues must spend 36 million euro.
After joining Chelsea, Gonzalo Higuain praised The Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri. He thinks Sarri is the coach that could maximize his talent.
“He’s someone who knew how to work with me, particularly on the emotional side,” Gonzalo Higuain said.
“That year together was fantastic and in big parts thanks to him, so coming to work with him is very important for me.”
