Maurizio Sarri: Juventus is Still Under Construction
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Maurizio Sarri, the Juventus coach, commented on his team’s hard-won victory against Hellas Verona with a score of 2-1 in the continuing Serie A match.
Sarri reasoned that Juventus’ difficulty in beating Verona was because Bianconeri – Juventus’ nickname- – were under construction. The point is that Sarri felt that the Juventus players were still unable to play the game he wanted.
As he was still groping his game scheme, Sarri admitted that Juventus were still unable to display their best performances. That is what was seen when Juventus won 2-1 over Verona, where Sarri saw some of his upbringing players still were unable to implement the game he wanted.
“This is a team that is being built, where you can easily forget to survive, move forward and back when under pressure. So I think it takes time to get it out (the best game of Juventus), “Sarri explained as quoted by Football Italia.
In addition, the former Chelsea coach also felt a lot of mistakes happened in Juventus’ back line. The reason Sarri considered implementing a defensive style in a team is not an easy matter so he will focus on Juventus’ back line to be able to achieve maximum results this season.
“It takes a long time to be able to apply a defensive style to a game. “For now, they are still not confident to play from the back when they are under pressure,” he stated.
