Maurizio Sarri Rated Criticisms for His Club Too Much

By db-admin

DBasia.news – Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri considers the criticism directed at him and the club in the last few days to be kind of too much. To ward off this criticism he managed to provide proof of the victory achieved by The Bianconerri over Bologna with a score of 2-0 in Serie A continued on Tuesday (6/23).

Ronaldo scored with a penalty after the referee saw Stefano Denswil foul on Matthijs de Ligt. Then Dybala scored through sensational individual action.

“We are physically sharper tonight, because we maintain the tempo and intensity for 70 minutes, while in the Coppa we go down after 20-30 minutes,” Sarri told Sky Sport Italia, Tuesday (6/23)

Sarri praised the performance of Federico Bernandeschi who provided assists to Dybala. According to him, Bernadeschi performed well in his last two matches as a substitute. Bernadeschi is also considered to do his job in attacking and defending.

Sarri admitted Bernadaschi was a player who often received criticism. But with his neat performance in the match, he responded with a crushing criticism that came to him.

“We have many opportunities to end the match 3-0, but our energy runs out towards the end and we have to sit a little deeper. This is not a philosophical or tactical decision, it’s physiological when the fuel runs low.”

The former Napoli and Chelsea manager admitted that there was a lot of criticism coming at his squad. He also realized that he had high quality individual players. However, he is not only fixated on a number of players, but must provide opportunities for all players. That’s why sometimes the players who are deployed are not in accordance with expectations.

Sarri also gave an assessment of De Ligt. According to him, the Dutchman began to get used to the style of Italian football. De Ligt, he continued, had been accustomed to playing more attacking styles like in the Netherlands.

Sarri said De Ligt was a foreign player who adapted far more quickly. “He is destined to be great and will definitely be one of the best defenders in Europe,” he said.

Sarri added, his team always discussed off the field about how to improve team play and get out of setback. Although, he acknowledged the existence of opinions and criticisms to his team, but there are other facts that do not match the criticism that Juventus are still considered to play well.

“The criticism is excessive and it could be a motivation for us to get back mentally fit even more than physically, which may take a little longer,” concluded Sarri.
