Mauro Icardi’s Positive Signal in Inter Milan

Mauro Icardi

Real Madrid and Chelsea are eyeing the situation of Inter Milan captain, Mauro Icardi. The £100M budget might be his transfer fee.

Icardi’s exit possibility is wide open. Apparently, his contract renewal has no further progress. Moreover, the latest news said that he refused the offer.

But, good news for Nerazzurri fans, the club CEO Beppe Marotta denied that issue and said the contract renewal went smoothly and both have agreed.

“The fans should not worry, there’s no need to talk about this as controversy. These are typical dynamics in a football club, especially when approaching deadlines,” Marotta said cited by Football-Italia.

“There will be no problem, as both parties want to continue together and that is a common denominator that bodes well for the future,” the former Juventus CEO added.

As additional information, it’s previously rumored that Inter didn’t like Wanda Nara, the agent, and wife of Icardi. The club want to find the new agent, but the 25-year-old player refused it.

Despite Marotta’s hint of Icardi’s contract renewal at Giuseppe Meazza, the chance of top clubs to sign him is open. Apparently, he has the release clause worth 110 million euro but only applicable during the summer transfer market, on June 1st-15th.
