Mendy Becomes a Rape Defendant, Two New Cases Appear

DBasia.news – The rape case that was accused of Manchester City full-back Benjamin Mendy is still ongoing, even worse. Because there are two new cases that emerged and ensnared him.

As quoted from Dailymail, Mendy, who had previously been charged and charged with four rape cases, has now increased to two new cases, a total of six cases.

The case involved physical assault and the victims claimed they were raped at Mendy’s luxury home in Prestbury, Cheshire. The Crown Prosecution Service said the charges came in relation to the rape of a woman at the age of 16, who they claim were assaulted in October 2020 and August 2021.

Mendy (27 years) is not alone because another defendant, Louis Saha Matturie (40 years), has also been charged with two new cases of rape and physical assault. Mendy and Matturie were summoned to appear at Stockport Court.

Court proceedings were supposed to be scheduled for next January, but that could now be postponed due to new demands.

Mendy, who signed for Man City from Monaco for £52 million in 2017, is currently being held at the HMP Altcourse in Liverpool following his first assault in August.

The court previously reported the defendant’s attack took place at his home address in Prestbury. Man City as Mendy’s club sanctioned the French player after he was charged.

Mendy, who was in France’s squad for the 2018 World Cup, earns £90,000 per week, living in a £5 million mansion in Prestbury.

Since coming to City from Monaco, Mendy, who plays at left-back, has made 75 appearances. This season Mendy played twice at the start of the season against Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
