DBasia.news –  Severe injuries was suffered by Merih Demiral, which apparently did not worry Juventus. Through his sporting director, Fabio Paratici, the Bianconerri will certainly not bring in a new center-back in the January transfer window.

Demiral became the second center back for Juventus to enter the treatment room. Previously, the Bianconerri also lost Giorgio Chiellini, who suffered a severe knee injury at the start of the 2018-19 season.

“We have absolutely no intention of bringing in a new central defender in the January transfer window. We do not need an additional center back, “Fabio Paratici said as quoted by the Italian Football website.

“We have a good central defender and a fairly complete squad. Of course we hope Giorgio Chiellini will recover soon. We are in pretty good condition, “added Paratici.

Merih Demiral’s injury has now made Juventus only have three central defenders. The three players are Leonardo Bonucci, Matthijs de Ligt, and Daniele Rugani. In the Coppa Italia party earlier, the Bianconerri played the Rugani duo and De Ligt in the back.

Before suffering an injury, Demiral became one of the players who was widely reported to be leaving Juventus. A number of English clubs such as Leicester City and West Ham United are reportedly ready to accommodate the Turkish player in the January transfer window.
