DBasia.news – Santiago Bernabeu would be the venue of 2018 Copa Libertadores final match between two Argentina legendary teams, Boca Juniors and River Plate. Called Superclasico, the match would be conducted on Monday, December 10th, 2.30 am.

As a matter of fact, the 2018 Copa Libertadores final match supposed to be conducted in Argentina after the 2-2 first leg at La Bombonera. But, ahead of the second leg at Monumental, the River fans attacked Boca bus and hurt some players.

After a long discussion, CONMEBOL decided to conduct the final match at a neutral zone, Santiago Bernabeu, the home of Real Madrid.

It’s controversial. But, the match would still be conducted there. RFEF suggested inviting two superstar players Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo to witness the match.

AS reported Messi agreed to attend the duel of his hometown clubs. Meanwhile, there is no confirmation yet from Ronaldo. He might absent considering his relationship with Madrid.

Ronaldo left Madrid to Juventus this summer after 9 years. The 33-year-old player uttered his reason leaving because he didn’t feel any respect by the President, Florentino Perez.

“Cristiano would be delighted to accept the RFEF’s invitation and watch the game alongside Messi in the VIP area, but the wounds of his exit have not completely healed over,” said AS source.

However, RFEF and Madrid hope Ronaldo would come to Bernabeu to witness the match with Messi. Perez wants the same thing: seeing two megastars dominating the European football for the past decade sit together witnessing the 2018 Copa Libertadores final round.
