Mikel Arteta about Arsenal’s Plan in the Transfer Market

DBasia.news – Arsenal is getting better. After experiencing two defeats in a row after the restart of the competition, Mikel Arteta’s squad immediately rose to embrace four consecutive victories in cross events.

Stretching in the transfer market is one of the things they need to do. Responding to that, the Spanish coach seemed relaxed. He had already drawn up a plan and, according to him, club officials understood the plan.

“I understand how the situation at the club and our position is, but the club (Arsenal’s management) knows my plans,” he told Sky Sports.

“In January [2020], the situation was that we had to fill in some gaps and provide stability to the squad. Now is the time to make a step forward and improve the squad and players we have,” continued Arteta.

However, Arsenal may not be dictated by agents. Journalist Nick Wright wrote in his Sky Sports column that the ‘London Cannon’ is too dependent on certain agents, Kia Joorabchian, for example.

David Luiz and Cedric Soares are examples of players who are under the auspices of Iranian agent. Some time ago, Arsenal were linked to bring Willian from Chelsea. Rumors could be there, one of them, because of Arsenal’s close relation with Joorabchian.

However, Arteta asserted, all players can enter/exit if there is an agreement from him. Keep in mind. After all, Arsenal also have a negotiator team which he considers qualified.

Among them are 1) Raul Sanllehi: Head of Football; 2) Vinai Venkatsham: Managing Director; 3) Huss Fahmy: Contract Negotiator; 4) Edu Gaspar: Technical Director.

“We have a very strong team [in negotiations] and the communication is very clear about where the club is going to go. Not only with Raul, Vinai, Huss and Edu, but also with the club owner,” explained the 38-year-old coach.
