DBasia.news – Although AC Milan have made Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori permanent, who is currently on loan at the San Siro for a season, the Rossoneri still want to hijack some Blues players.
Milan are currently monitoring the conditions of Hakim Ziyech, Olivier Giroud and Tiemoue Bakayoko, and are looking to obtain all three to leave Stamford Bridge.
The decision was made to strengthen the Milan squad, which left several important players such as Hakan Calhanoglu, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Brahim Diaz.
According to Sky Italia reports, although Giroud has signed a new contract with Chelsea, the player’s agent has agreed a two-year contract at the San Siro with a salary of 3.5 million euros per season plus bonuses.
While Ziyech is believed to be a replacement for Calhanoglu, who shifted to Inter Milan, the Rossoneri are keen to try to sign Chelsea’s former loanee Bakayoko, who is projected to replace Soualiho Meite who will return to Torino after his loan spell expires.
The defensive midfielder has not played for Chelsea since 2018, spending the 2018/19 season on loan at Milan before joining AS Monaco and Napoli, and as of now Bakayoko does not know if he will land a place under Thomas Tuchel.
In addition to the Chelsea trio above, Milan currently also has other names on their transfer list.
Players such as Cengiz Under of AS Roma, Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Lemar and Everton star James Rodriguez are currently on the Rossoneri’s radar.
