Monaco Defeats SC Amiens

DBasia.news – AS Monaco continued their positive trend by winning two consecutive wins by beating SC Amiens with three goals without reply in a match held at Stade Louis II.
Wissam Ben Yedder, Guilermo Maripan and Keita Balde each recorded one goal that was all scored in the second half in a span of seven minutes.
These three points earned Monaco to go up four places to ninth with 24 points. As for Amiens, this defeat left them on the edge of the relegation zone, occupying 17th place with 16 points.
In the first half, the game was monotonous. The poor completion of the two teams has made the created opportunities wasted. The 0-0 score lasted until halftime.
Monaco could only break the deadlock when the game entered the 17th minute of the second half. Wissam Ben Yedder opened the scoring tap when his half-volley hard shot shot past the goalkeeper.
Five minutes later Guillermo Maripan brought Monaco to double the advantage. Receiving a free kick bait, toring the net that was guarded by Regis Gurtner.
Shortly after, Keita Balde brought Monaco to further immerse Amiens. The goal was the last goal created in this match.
