Monaco returns to their winning ways

DBasia.news – AS Monaco returned to their winning ways in Week 13 of the French League match.
Hosting Dijon at the Louis II Stadium, Monaco won a narrow 1-0 victory thanks to goals by Aleksandr Golovin.
Golovin scored his goal in the 42nd minute utilizing a decoy sent by Slimani after the Monaco’s previous attack was countered by Dijon.
Leonardo Jardim’s team continued to try to increase their lead in the second half but always failed, while Dijon’s chance to equalize in the 87th minute through Jhonder Cadiz’s header just hit the crossbar.
The result moved Monaco to eighth place with 18 points, while Dijon (12) dropped to 19th.
