MU and Liverpool Are Getting Ready, Erling Haaland Only Wants to Play in England

DBasia.news – The future of Borussia Dortmund striker from Norway, Erling Haaland, at Signal Iduna Park seems to be coming to an end at the end of the upcoming 2021/22 season. He continues to be linked with various big European clubs, and now there are reports that he will move to England.

The report was conveyed directly by Spanish journalist, Josep Pedrerol, who is also a close associate of Real Madrid president, Florentino Perez, that Erling Haaland will prioritize a move next summer to an English club.

This is of course very surprising, because it was previously known that Real Madrid was the club most eager to get his signature to partner Kylian Mbappe, but Haaland actually rejected their interest indirectly.

“Real Madrid assumed that Haaland would play in England next year, so they have now ruled out a transfer,” said Pedrerol.

The claim makes English clubs such as Manchester United and Chelsea have to immediately think of a strategy in order to bring Erling Haaland out of Borussia Dortmund in the summer of next year.

The son of Alf-Inge Haaland can leave if the interested club is able to redeem his release clause of 75 million euros or 1.28 trillion rupiah.

Both clubs must also move quickly, because Manchester City and Liverpool are said to be interested and assessing their chances of landing Haaland.

The Citizens now really need a new striker, because they no longer have a pure striker since the departure of Sergio Aguero to Barcelona in the summer of 2021.

Meanwhile, Liverpool want Haaland as part of their quest to rejuvenate the squad, as the attacking trio of Mohammed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane will be approaching the age of three.
