DBasia.news – Stan Collymore, a former Liverpool player, gave advice to Mykhaylo Mudryk. According to him, the Shakhtar Donetsk player is better off choosing Chelsea than Arsenal.
Mykhaylo Mudryk is one of the best-selling players in this transfer market. Chelsea and Arsenal are the two teams that are going head to head to sign Mudryk.
So far, it is still unknown where Mykhaylo Mudryk will head to. However, between the two clubs, Mudryk is more advised to accept Chelsea’s offer.
“I’m aware that there are a number of supporters who argue that if Mudryk chose Chelsea over Arsenal it was all because of money. That could be true,” Collymore told Caught Offside.
“However, for me, Chelsea still have an interesting project. If Todd Boehly can sell his Chelsea future to Mudryk, I think that is a more attractive option.”
Collymore reasoned, Chelsea have a longer vision. Moreover, in recent years the Blues have been in a better position than Arsenal.
“If asked to choose, I would point to Chelsea over Arsenal. That doesn’t mean I haven’t seen Mikel Arteta’s good performance at Arsenal,” explained Collymore.
“However, I’m only thinking about the next three to four years. Chelsea have a better project and are consistently fighting for the title. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Mudryk heads to Chelsea.”
So far, the negotiation process for Mykhaylo Mudryk is still going on tough. Shakhtar has set a price of 100 million euros for the winger. The amount has mad Arsenal and Chelsea think twice. According to reports circulating, Mudryk is prioritizing the Gunners.
