Napoli will not prevent Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens from leaving

DBasia.news –  Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis (ADL), said that he would not be in the way if two of his top players Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens left for the Chinese League.

“I will not deter at all if there is a big effort to recruit them,” ADL was quoted as saying on Sky Sports on Thursday (10/17/2019).

“Every player has a sale value, all depends on the existing offer. If they want to sell themselves to China, go ahead,” he added.

Jose Callejon and Dries Mertens were rumored to have been approached by a club from the Chinese League. According to ADL, Napoli will be ready to take off if there is an appropriate price.

“I don’t care if they finally go to China, it has become their problem. I can’t say that the Chinese League is competitive,” said ADL.
