DBasia.news – Former Tottenham Hotspur player, Ledley King, believes Tanguy Ndombele can make a difference for The Lilywhites next season.
Tanguy Ndombele came to Tottenham as the record for the most expensive purchase of The Lilywhites in the summer transfer market this year. The 24-year-old player was imported from Olympique Lyon for 54 million Euros.
“There is no doubt Ndombele is a talented player. I think he is still adjusting to the style of play and the tempo demanded by the manager, and he is a young player so it is important to give him time and let him develop and gain an understanding of what the manager wants,” King said.
“But without doubt he is talented, he has an eye for good crosses, he can certainly make things happen, so I want to see him all season long,” King added.
Ndombele is one of Tottenham’s two recruits in the transfer market this year. One other player who also brought in The Lilywhites is young player Jack Clarke from Leeds United. However, The Lilywhites decided to release Clarke on loan for one season to Leeds.
The arrival of Ndomble itself has not made Tottenham officials feel satisfied. They are reportedly still competing to get the autographs of Bruno Fernandes, Giovanni Lo Celso, and Paulo Dybala before the summer transfer window closes later this week.
