DBasia.news – Pavel Nedved, vice president of Juventus, denied reports that he wanted to fire Massimiliano Allegri to be replaced with Antonio Conte. Nedved has great faith in Allegri.
Massimiliano Allegri’s position as Juventus coach has come into question after a series of negative results. In both Serie A and the Champions League, the Bianconeri are struggling.
According to reports circulating in Italy, Nedved wants to dismiss Allegri. Instead, he glanced at Antonio Conte. He feels that Conte is the right person to bring Juve back to the championship track.
However, the news was denied by Nedved. According to him, Allegri still deserves to be trusted.
“The coach never had any doubts from us. That is something I really want to make clear,” Nedved told Sky Sports Italia.
Meanwhile, Juventus finally won their first win in the Champions League this season after overthrowing Maccabi Haifa on matchday 3 of Group H, at Allianz Stadium, Thursday (6/10). La Vecchia Signora closed the game with a 3-1 advantage.
“We are doing everything. The coach, staff and players are all fighting to get back on track,” stated Nedved.
“Everyone is fighting to perform according to the Juventus style of play so that they can face the next match and improve their position in Serie A. That is our objective target,” explained Nedved.
