DBasia.news – SEREMBAN: Negeri Sembilan started a tough Challenge Cup 2018 with a slight 0-1 defeat to the Malaysia Premier League squad, Terengganu FCII (TFCII), in a match at the Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, Paroi, just recently.
Mohd Haidhir Suhaini scored as the visitor team in the 47th minute.
Hosts are seen dead to penetrate the TFCII fortress whenever the attack is done by the front-end failing to pass the visitors’ embargo.
The young players whom the manager from Portugal, Mario Lemos has chosen, is is seen not ready to take on the challenge when they often fail to get the best rhythms when the first half ends without a goal.
The centerpiece, Flavio Beck Junior, who acted as captain of Negeri Sembilan, was also seen as to be unable to help the attacking players led by Mohd Fakrul Aiman Sidid and Angel Guirado to score.
Continued in the second half, visitors were seen aggressively scoring for goals and they did not wait long when a one-two move between Mohd Haidhir Suhaini and Bruno Suzuki broke the deadlock.
Mohd Haidhir, who made a quick kick from the left, beat host goalkeeper Mohd Kaharuddin Abd Rahman for TFCII’s first goal in the 47th minute.
The network struck the spirit of the Hobin Jang Hobin squad and they were seen to have struck an attack into the opponent’s fort for a goal.
However, Negeri Sembilan’s efforts have not been wasted when TFCII goalkeeper Mohd Suhaimi Husin has been good at defending the goal even though he often receives a shot.
The home side’s effort to get at least one point is unlikely when the 1-0 result remains.
