DBasia.news – A number of rules will be patented for Premier League clubs’ training sessions. One of them is a ban on tackles and rules to keep distance.
The rules are part of Project Restart, an initiative to try to roll back British football which is currently still being affected by the Corona virus pandemic.
Representatives from 20 Premier League clubs are planned to conduct further discussions to formulate plans to restart the season on Friday (5/15).
According to BBC reports, in the first phase of the team training there will be a number of official protocols that must be adhered to in the context of physical distancing. This protocol is said to have been sent to club players and managers on Tuesday (12/5).
Among the rules is the prohibition to do tackles. The training ground will be sprayed with disinfectants.
Each session in the exercise will be limited to no more than 75 minutes. Before and after each training session the ball, training cone, goalpost and corner soccer flag will also be sprayed with disinfectant.
In addition, in the beginning the players could only group no more than five people and had to maintain a distance of two meters from each other, without being allowed to touch.
The players will undergo COVID-19 tests twice a week. They will also undergo regular temperature checks, as well as following the questionnaire before training every day.
