DBasia.news – The English club, Newcastle United, officially obtained the signature of Valentino Lazaro from Inter Milan. Lazaro is brought in on loan with a purchase option at the end of the upcoming 2019/2020 season.
The former wing-back of Hertha Berlin failed to show his best performance with La Beneamata. As a result, he was not included in the plans of Inter coach, Antonio Conte after bringing in Ashley Young and Victor Moses this January.
Now Newcastle have officially tied Lazaro to St James’ Park Stadium on loan at a cost of 1.5 million euros, and the purchase option at the end of the season of 23.5 million euros.
Previously, Lazaro hinted that he wanted to move closer to the German Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig. But the team was less interested in the 23-year-old winger.
The Austrian footballer had actually only been signed by Inter for half a season since he was brought in from Hertha Berlin for a fee of 22 million euros last summer. However, Lazaro’s appearance was unable to convince Antonio Conte. While with the Nerazzurri, Lazaro has only played 10 matches with two assists in all competitions.
