Niko Kovac: Spectacular Coutinho Game!

DBasia.news –  The 27-year-old gave a brilliant assist to Serge Gnabry in the 15th minute and put Bayern 2-0 up in the 55th minute. This makes Munich the defending champion of the Bundesliga.

At the press conference, Niko Kovac was asked about Coutinho’s post-match game, “I think anyone who is in the stadium or who watches this match in any media, can see the abilities and quality of ball control that Coutinho has. He knows exactly when, how, and what to do.”

“Munchen scored the first goal brilliantly. Munich winger, Serge Gnabry, managed to put it in with a superb pass from Coutinho. Coutinho and Serge are a perfect match.”

Kovac believes that there are still abilities that can be demonstrated because he is becoming increasingly accustomed to playing games in Germany and especially, the Bundesliga. Coutinho has a direct contribution to Bayern’s goal every 70 minutes above the average pitch (two goals, two assists).

“He will help us more,” Kovac said. “He has contributed and he looks happy to be here. When a South American player is happy to be in the team, his quality also improves.”
