No Respect and Appreciation in Juventus for Higuain
By news-admin
DBasia.news – AC Milan and Juventus just completed the big transfer in the summer market. As the part of the transfer, Leonardo Bonucci returned to Juventus, Rossoneri got two players: Mattia Caldara and Gonzalo Higuain.
Caldara will be the direct successor of Bonucci in Milan, while Higuain was loaned worth 18 million euro and the permanent option worth 36 million euro. The arrival of El Pipita will add power to Gennaro Gattuso front line power. Higuain might be the mentor for the two young strikers, Patrick Cutrone and Andre Silva, also anticipate the exit of Nikola Kalinic
Higuain, 30, promised at least 20 goals in a season like what he presented during two past seasons with Juventus, where he scored 55 goals in 105 matches, ended in two Scudetto and Coppa Italia.
An interesting opinion came from Leonardo Astrada, the former player who got Higuain his River Plate debut in 2005. He thinks Higuain wasn’t respected well by Juventus hence the transfer to Milan. Especially after Cristiano Ronaldo’s arrival. Moreover, with Mario Mandzukic role, Juve are no longer need Higuain’s power.
“I think Higuain deserved better from the Bianconeri’s point of view. He scored more than 50 goals over those two years, always responding to the demands of the club and the Coach. His treatment should have been better, but now he will only be focused on Milan,” Astrada said reported by Football-Italia.
Milan are the fourth club of Higuain after Real Madrid, Napoli, and Juventus. Astrada believed his former student will continue his power in scoring goals with Milan who play in the Europa League this season.
“Definitely. I am convinced that Gonzalo will continue to show all of his great value. I think he will be very motivated by this new challenge at Milan. By now, it’s known that when Higuain changes teams he always succeeds in finding new motivation and he scores goals to show it,” Astrada said.
