Not Antonio Conte’s Choice, Christian Eriksen Ready to Leave Inter Milan

DBasia.news – Inter Milan player Christian Eriksen admits his journey with the Nerazzurri was not what he expected. Feeling like a failure, he intends to leave Giuseppe Meaza to another club in the January 2021 transfer market.

The midfielder is currently serving national duty with the Danish national team. While at Inter, he admits he didn’t have many opportunities under Antonio Conte’s tutelage.

“No, this is not what I dreamed,” said Eriksen as reported by the Italian Football, Friday (13/11).

He said all football players want to play as much as possible. However, the 28-year-old could not do much as the squad rests with the coach.

“This is a strange situation, because the fans want to see me play. But the coach has a different opinion and as a player I have to respect that,” he said.

Eriksen feels the situation will not improve if he stays with Antonio Conte’s squad. He believes that Inter have recorded many victories even though he did not appear on the field.

The Ligue 1 club, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reportedly ready to accommodate Eriksen if he wants to gain new knowledge. In response to this, he couldn’t say much.

“For now, my concentration is in football. We’ll see again what the next transfer market looks like,” he concluded.
