Not Ten Hag, Gary Neville prefers this figure to be Man United’s c oach

DBasia.news – Erik ten Hag is now a fan favorite to become the next Manchester United manager. But he has a tough rival from Mauricio Pochettino.

Ten Hag and Pochettino are believed to be at the top of the list of candidates for becoming Manchester United’s manager. The Red Devils officials have considered suitable tacticians to deal with David De Gea and his team mates.

Interestingly, Ten Hag was the first to interview for the job. The man who still serves as coach of Ajax Amsterdam underwent the process on Monday (21/3).

Ten Hag is also the first name Manchester United interviewed for this job. This then led to speculation that he was the number one target.

The majority of Manchester United fans seem to approve of Ten Hag’s appointment. He is at least considered better than Pochettino.

This can be seen from a small survey conducted by Gary Neville on Twitter. He asked his followers to vote between Ten Hag and Pochettino.

As a result, Ten Hag won with a percentage of the vote reaching 82%. This proves the popularity of the coach in the eyes of Manchester United fans.

Even so, Neville did not agree with the choice of his followers. He prefers to choose Pochettino for this job.

“Personally I would choose Pochettino. But Ten Hag is the favorite of most United fans to take the club forward,” Neville wrote.

“It was a clear choice between the two.”

Neville did not explain in detail the reasons he preferred Pochettino. But he still seems to doubt Ten Hag’s ability to manage a team as big as Manchester United.
