Officially Wearing PSG Uniform, Moise Kean Reveals His Ambition

DBasia.news – Moise Kean has the ambition to reach the highest possible level after he officially joins Paris Saint-Germain on a season-long loan.

The Italian national team striker is currently officially in the Les Parisiens uniform from Everton on a season-long loan without a permanent purchase option at the end of the season, as confirmed directly by PSG via the club’s official website.

“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the arrival of Moise Kean from Everton FC. The 20-year-old Italian striker is on loan at the capital club until 30 June 2021. The loan does not come with an option to buy,” said the statement.

Before officially joining the Champions League finalists last season, Kean was rumored to be returning to Juventus’ arms in the transfer market this summer. Rumors of leaving have been blowing hard in tandem with the striker’s sluggish performance since the Toffees’ purchase from Juve last season, with he only able to score 4 goals in 37 appearances in all competitions.

And now, along with his new club, the striker who has Ivory Coast blood hopes to contribute to the club’s future achievements.

“I chose Paris Saint-Germain because this is a big club that has won many trophies,” he said as quoted from the club’s official website. “I feel very happy because many great players have worn this shirt. I hope I deserve it,” he continued.

“This is a league of very good standards, which also makes me want to join here, as well as to have the opportunity to learn with some great players and to be able to bring something to the team.”

“I am still young and continue to learn. There are some great players here, who are more experienced than me. When I get the opportunity to play, I will give my best on the pitch. My ambition is to reach the highest level possible and give everything for the team,” he explained.

The former Bianconeri striker also admitted that there was a role for Alessandro Florenzi in his decision to join the club which is based at the Parc des Princes Stadium.

“I spoke with Florenzi, who played with me for the Italian national team and asked him some questions. He spoke positively about the team, the coach and the training sessions. He assured me,” he added.
