Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Admits Premier League Title is Far from Man United’s Reach

DBasia.news –  The 2019-20 Premier League title has been forgotten by Manchester United. According to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, his team could no longer compete for it.

Manchester United have struggled since the start of the Premier League season. Currently, Paul Pogba and his friends only occupy the 10th position of the standings with 13 points. The amount is achieved based on three wins, four draws, and four defeats.

Reflecting from that note, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was pessimistic that Manchester United could come out as Premier League champions. Currently, Man United are 18 points behind Liverpool at the top of the table.

“I do not want to stop winning titles. Because the Premier League title is out of reach. We are too far behind the top teams,” said Soslkjaer as reported by Goal.

Manchester United does have several opportunities to win titles in other competitions. For example, the Red Devils certainly qualify for the last 32 of the Europa League. Meanwhile, in the English League Cup, Man United will compete in the quarter-finals.

“Whatever trophies we can still achieve will be sought. However, we need to improve performance in the Premier League,” explained the manager.

Manchester United will face Brighton in Week 12 of the Premier League 2019-2020, at Old Trafford on Sunday (11/10). The Red Devils have never lost against Brighton at home in the last 11 meetings.
