One Of The Players Suspected With Covid-19, Everton Isolated All Players

DBasia.news –  Everton officially isolated all players and coaching staff as of date (3/13). This was done because there was one of the players suspected of being affected by the virus.

Quoted from Everton’s official website, there is one player from the main squad who is reported to have a high fever and now he is isolating himself for seven days.

“Everton can confirm that as a precautionary measure, all the main squad and coaching staff were isolated for some time based on medical advice.

Everton will follow the instructions of the UK Government and Public Health will be happy to close the facility and (prioritize) staff welfare and will discuss the next steps. Especially about the future matches in the Premier League,” as written on the official club statement.

With this decision, the Toffees will close all sites of Carlo Ancelotti’s team activities. Such as USM Finch Farm, Goodison Park, Everton Headquarters at Royal Liver Building and retail stores at Goodison Park.

As previously reported, the Premier League was officially postponed until April 3. This was done after Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta and Chelsea’s Callum Hudson-Odoi tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Everton will actually play on Tuesday (17/03) in the game titled Merseyside Derby against Liverpool.

In addition to The Toffees, AFC Bournemouth and Leicester City also have players who are indicated to have symptoms of the corona virus.
