Oxford United Coach Proud to Hold Newcastle Draw
By db-admin
DBasia.news – Oxford United coach Karl Robinson feels proud of Oxford United being able to draw against host Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
The Magpies’ efforts to ensure tickets pass to the next phase must first be muted. Because they were held to a goalless draw by the third caste team of the elite competition of the State of Queen Elizabeth.
“This is incredible. We have played matches against three Premier League teams this season and only one of them defeated us (Manchester City). So I have to give credit to my players,” said Karl Robinson.
In addition to thanking Cameron Brannagan’s impressive performance and friends, Robinson also gave sky-high praise to the fans who came to the stadium. They always support the team passionately.
“For the fans, this shows you that this cup has got an extraordinary presence. My players are amazing. Maybe, we got the best chance of the game. All in a very good performance and I am very happy with the players and fan support,” he continued.
This result is certainly beneficial to the team nicknamed the Yellows, given the repeat match will take place at their headquarters at the Kassam Stadium, Wednesday (5/2).
