DBasia.news – Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba has returned to training partially after recovering from a knee injury.
Pogba returned to training with the Bianconeri on Tuesday (18/10) after a long break due to a knee injury. The French midfielder returned to the club from Manchester United in July, but he then developed problems in pre-season and was forced to undergo surgery.
Pogba has not featured competitively for Juventus since signing this summer, but is now on the verge of returning to action.
Pogba was originally scheduled to return at the end of October and it is thought he could be available for Juventus’ Champions League group game against Benfica within a week’s time.
Pogba’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, offered some insight into Pogba’s mindset during his recovery.
“He is enthusiastic. Paul’s super strength is overcoming adversity with incredible strength and incredible positivity,” Pimenta told Tuttosport.
“There was a moment, a few weeks ago, when he said to me, ‘Rafaela, that’s enough. I don’t want to think about anything else, I’m focused on my knee and recovery because I want to play again.’ And, he did.”
Since rejoining Manchester United in August 2016, Pogba has created more chances (231) and provided more assists (38) in the Premier League than any other United player in this period.
