DBasia.news –  The eighth consecutive Scudetto was secured by Juventus after a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the Serie A match, Saturday (4/20) evening WIB. Even so, the Juventus trip this season was accompanied by notes in several aspects.

Apart from being knocked out of the Copa del Rey and Champions League, the trophy that was highly coveted by Juventus fans who last won the title in the 1995-96 season. Positively, Cristiano Ronaldo still wants to stay with Juventus.

“I am very happy. We are unable to win the Champions League title, but we will do it better next season. 1,000 percent (Ronaldo stays at Juventus),” Ronaldo told the media.

Ronaldo scored 25 goals in all competitions with Juventus this season and 10 assists. Unfortunately, Ronaldo’s brilliant appearance becam a ‘sacrifice’ by several players who played with him – not all.

One of the players is Paulo Dybala. Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus coach, seems to not know how to maximize his best potential since Ronaldo came to Turin in the summer of 2018. Dybala has tried to become a wing attacker and that role has not been carried out well.

Dybala scored 10 goals and only gave four assists this season. In Serie A, La Joya appeared for 1,867 minutes or 21 starts in Serie A and six more as substitutes. Juventus legend in the mid-1975-1985, Marco Tardelli, believed that Dybala is a victim of Ronaldo’s arrival.

“Juventus have to fix the way they handle the squad. Maybe Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing too much this season, but he is one of the players who gave the command. Against Ajax he should be able to perform better,” Tardelli told Rai Sport.

“Some players lacked more contributions when playing with Ronaldo and, consciously, suffered playing with him. Dybala was one of those players,” he continued.

In a few matches when Ronaldo and Dybala played together, it was clear that Ronaldo always stood out from the Dybala until the collectivity of  Juventus’ play was invisible.

The natural thing is that the player doesn’t perform well when playing with Ronaldo. Especially for the attacker’s role. As Ronaldo will always be in an area of 16 meters and occasionally move to pick up the ball. Last season Gareth Bale also felt what Dybala felt at Real Madrid.

When the 34-year-old did it, he took up space from the other players’ roles. That must be addressed by Allegri next season at Juventus if they want to continue to keep the ambition to win the Champions League title.
