Paulo Dybala Regretted Ever Criticizing Lionel Messi

DBasia.news –  Last summer, Paulo Dybala criticized Lionel Messi. He now claimed to regret doing that. However, Dybala stressed that his intention was only for the Argentine national team to get better results.

Reporting from Metro, Dybala had said that he had difficulty playing with Messi because he had to adjust his game to the superstar. Dybala now regretted having commented so publicly.

“My comment about him? I should have said it differently,” Dybala told to Argentine national team’s official website. “There are people who want to understand it with bad intentions.”

“I have never tried to criticize a colleague, I just want to improve something that is happening anyway. I will want to give more to Argentina and achieve better results on the team and on a personal level.”

“Even though I’ve talked to Leo, because we are both very tactically similar. Even with [Lionel’s coach] Scaloni we did it so we wouldn’t clash on the field.”
