DBasia.news – Paulo Dybala looked angry when being pulled out in Juventus’s 2-1 victory over AS Roma. But Maurizio considered the incident was not a problem.
The Juventus striker played less than 70 minutes in the Italian League match at the Olimpico on Monday (1/13/2020). After Juve conceded a Diego Perotti penalty goal, Dybala was replaced by Gonzalo Higuain. The 26-year-old footballer was clearly not happy after being pulled out. It was the fifth consecutive time Dybala was not played for 90 minutes in domestic competition.
“I don’t really care, to be honest,” Juventus coach Sarri said after the match. “The match showed that I did have to do certain things and I had to make a decision.”
Juventus will host Udinese at the Allianz Stadium to play the last 16 of the Coppa Italia on Thursday (1/16). Sarri dismissed the accusation that his relationship with Dybala was not harmonious.
“I talk to Dybala every day, also because I like him. There is no need to talk about what has happened,” Sarri said.
“Among many other things, the staff told me that he only asked why he was replaced, in my opinion, it was not a strange thing.”
“We are fortunate that we have attackers who are a force, not a problem or a controversy,” the ex-Napoli and Chelsea coach was straightforward.
