Pedro Stays with Chelsea Until the Season Is Over

Willian and Pedro actually finished their contract at Chelsea per June 30. Which means, the two can walk out on July 1 to discuss a contract with their new club.

However, the corona virus pandemic has stopped the Premier League competition for three months, which will make it finish around mid-July. The future of Willian and Pedro is then speculated, many asking whether they will be retained?

While Olivier Giroud, whose contract has expired has already been extended. Incidentally Willian and Pedro lately been linked with several big clubs, such as AS Roma, Arsenal, and Tottenham Hotspur.

However, the speculation ended as Chelsea officially announced that they had extended Willian and Pedro’s contracts until the season was over. Chelsea still need the power of both players as they appear in three competitions.

Willian is still regularly performing this season with 38 appearances and seven goals in all competitions, while Pedro only played 18 times and scored two goals.
