DBasia.news – Persib Bandung coach Mario Gomez told that his squad will meet Madura United at Mandala Jayapura Stadium, Tuesday (9/10). They have to do this as the answer of PSSI Disciplinary Committee’s sanction that requires Maung Bandung to play outside Java.
Mario said the Mandala Stadium Jayapura is the right choice and beneficial for the team. Thus, Persib don’t have to go further for the upcoming match against Persipura Jayapura, Monday (15/10).
“We will play there as our home. After that, perhaps we will stay there preparing for the match against Persipura,” Mario said at Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung, Thursday (4/10).
Besides, Mario said, Mandala Stadium Jayapura also graded international level. It’s proved, Persipura often conduct the AFC Cup in the stadium at eastern of Indonesia.

“The capacity is great and the pitch also well-maintained. The main reason why we go there because we avoid moving to another stadium. So we only need to do one trip,” he said.
As planned, Mario said, the team will go to Papua on Saturday (6/10). The goal is to prepare everything smoothly.
“This Saturday we will leave to Papua, we will stay there until October 15. After the match against Persipura, we will go home,” he said.
Despite the home match outside Bandung, the 61-year-old coach hopes the squad could perform their best to achieve three points.
“Our target is to win against Madura. Many people talk about other things, but we only want to achieve the target to win against Madura,” he insisted.
