DBasia.news – The issue of the postponed match between Persib Bandung against Persija Jakarta isn’t done yet. Initiated with the host request to postpone the match, now the away team is questioning the work of the organizing committee.
The recommendation from Polrestabes Bandung mentioned that the match on 23rd week of Liga 1 will be postponed until September 25, 2018, at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium. The initial schedule was two days before, in the same venue.
For security reason, Polrestabes Bandung through a letter-number B/3486/IX/2018/ Bag. Ops, about Persib Bandung vs Persija Jakarta Schedule Change Request on September 17 is recommending the kick-off time to be changed. Apparently, the moment is happening at the same time with the campaign of the legislative and presidential election.
“If it can’t be conducted in Bandung, why the committee isn’t looking for another venue just like what Persija did,” said Persija manager Marsma TNI Ardhi Tjahjoko on Tuesday (18/9).
GBLA Stadium
Ardhi took the example when Persija became the host last season. The Macan Kemayoran squad didn’t get the permission from the police to play against Persib at Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi, on November 3.
Instead of postponing, Persija moved the match to Manahan Stadium, Solo, with the previous date.
Until now, Ardhi is still waiting for the official decision from PT Liga Indonesia Baru as the competition operator. “But if it’s the decision from PT LIB, we will follow,” he uttered.
