Peter Crouch receives a threat in Manchester United’s match with Liverpool

DBasia.news – Peter Crouch is the person most responsible behind the meeting of Manchester United against Liverpool in the 2020-2021 FA Cup fourth round. As a result, he also received an unexpected threat.

Crouch is the person appointed by the FA to draw the fourth round of this season’s FA Cup on Monday (11/1) local time. He took 32 numbered balls marking the remaining 32 teams.

On one occasion, Crouch picked the number eight ball representing Manchester United. After that, he picked the number 23 which means Liverpool.

After realizing that he had just brought Manchester United and Liverpool together, Crouch was a little surprised but tried to stay calm. He certainly really understands how fierce the rivalry between the two teams is because he has strengthened the Reds for three seasons.

The problem is, Liverpool are slightly disadvantaged from this draw. Jurgen Klopp’s team will play as the visitors and travel to Old Trafford between January 22-25.

Even though the two teams will also meet at Anfield in the continued Premier League on January 17. This means that Manchester United and Liverpool will meet twice a week.

Understandably, Crouch has angered Liverpool supporters. The people who did so was his own in-laws.

Abbey Clancy, who is Crouch’s wife, comes from a native Liverpool family. Her father supports the Red Merseyside.

“My dad will kill you, Man U vs Liverpool #facupdraw,” tweeted @OfficialClancy on Twitter, tagging Crouch.

The threat is of course only a joke. Crouch also tried to respond jokingly.

“I’ll head straight to the spare room,” said Crouch.

In general, Liverpool supporters did not like the results of this draw. They seem worried about the rise of Manchester United under the tutelage of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Moreover, Liverpool’s condition is still limping because a number of its stars are still injured. They certainly don’t want their favorite team to be eliminated prematurely in this tournament.
