Philippe Coutinho Discusses Family Atmosphere in Bayern Munchen

DBasia.news –  Philippe Coutinho came from Liverpool to Barcelona in January 2018 with great hopes from the public. Understandably, the price was not cheap: 145 million euros.

Although he succeeded in getting the Blaugrana to win La Liga in two consecutive seasons, luck was not on Coutinho’s side, he started the game more from the bench and could only collect 21 goals from 76 matches.

Upset on not being the main choice of Ernesto Valverde, Coutinho then chose to move to Bayern Munich in the summer of 2019, he was brought in on loan, however, Die Roten was able to activate the purchase option at the end of the season.

Not even one month being a part of Niko Kovac’s squad, the 27-year-old player made a surprising statement, with a slightly sarcastic tone, Coutinho felt much happier and considered that the sense of kinship in the Bayern squad was so strong.

“At the beginning of joining Bayern Munchen, the club invited me to look around the entire club facilities. I also immediately met with teammates and coaches,” Coutinho said as reported by Sport English.

“I feel better every day. I am also very happy here. Everything feels like family. I have felt the same when I was strengthening Liverpool, but at Bayern I can feel such a strong family,” he added.

Unfortunately, after his arrival at the Allianz Arena, Coutinho has not been able to ensure a place in the starting XI, lastly, he also only played for two minutes when Bayern were held to a 1-1 draw by RB Leipzig on Saturday (14/9).
